A Little Leaven

 

"As Christians, we are told to live a life that is separate from the world’s standards and morals. Romans 12:2 (KJV) says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” The bible is full of examples of the early church apostles and elders, who habitually risked their lives and in the end were killed for their devotion to spreading the word of God. Sadly however, today’s church has lost sight of God’s command to live separately from the world. We are putting aside the principals of the bible and rapidly adopting the world’s moral and ethical standards, in order to be accepted in mainstream society."
