How to escape from the things that bind us

 “Are you trying to escape from chains right now? When people think of trying to escape from chains, they usually think of a prisoner attempting to free himself from actual chains, or an escape artist attempting to extricate himself from chains, in front of an audience. While it is true that escape artists are trained to free themselves from physical chains, there are many people who go throughout life, attempting to free themselves from invisible chains. These chains can take on the form of emotional pain, psychological abuse, physical abuse or even spiritual abuse. Too often, in an attempt to escape from the chains of their past or present situations, people turn to various forms of escapism.”
