  By J.E. Nickerson God wants us to come to him with our hopes, dreams and needs. When Jesus walked the earth, he taught his disciples to pray to God and ask him to provide for their daily needs. He called it our daily bread. These were the mundane or ordinary things that everyone needs in order to fulfill their responsibilities. But prayer and reliance on God does not stop there. God wants us to bring him our hopes and the things we want that are out of the ordinary. This is what Paul meant when he talked about leaning our entire personality on God in trust and faith.
