God’s love for us is unconditional

Many people struggle to believe that God's love for them is unconditional. Most of the relationships we have in life, are based on earning the other person's approval, acceptance and love. But God's approval and love is not based on our performance or abilities. God will not love us more or love us less, because of the things we do or because of what we pray. God's love for us is based on who he is as our creator. God created us with the intention of loving us and interacting with us. While we do not always understand the things we go through in life, God promises to always be there for us and love us, in spite of the mistakes we make. All we have to do is open our hearts and lives to him and be willing to receive his love for us. Today I challenge you to view God as the loving creator who cares about you. Open your mind to him and ask him to give you a greater understanding of his love and help you understand the benefits of developing a relationship with him.
