God's limitless love for us

The love of God is greater than anything we can comprehend on our own. When people say they love each other, it is based on human concepts and definitions of love. While human forms of love help us and are necessary for our life, God’s love for us is stronger and more reliable than the love that people can give us. People’s love is often conditional and cannot satisfy every need we have in life. Friends may love us, but they cannot heal our bodies when we are sick or provide for every financial issue we have. 

But God’s love is limitless. It is not constrained by the limitations around us. God does not love us based on what we do for him. Instead, he loves us based on who he is. God is able to provide for us because he loves us. Out of love for humanity, Jesus Christ came to earth to walk among us. Out of love, he healed the sick and comforted the lonely. Many people long to experience a loving relationship with people around them. While God can provide this kind of relationship for us, the greatest and most powerful relationship we can experience, is with God through faith in Christ Jesus. 

Ephesians 3:18 tells us that only when we put our faith in Christ, are we able to understand the limitless love that Christ has for us. While the love of friends, family and other people in your life is important, I encourage you to seek God in faith and ask him to understand the great love Christ has for you. Put your faith in Christ and let him show you how much he loves you and cares about you.
