By J.E. Nickerson When we look at social issues around us, it is easy to become angry and want to lash out at various groups of people. While it is easy to attack each other in the public forum of social media or raise our fist in anger at people, this is not the best or more effective way of bringing change into society.  The most effective way of bringing change, is through praise and prayer. While it may seem counterintuitive, praising God reminds us of what he has already done in our life and society. It gives us hope for the future, because if God has done something in the past, then it builds our faith that he is able to do it again in the future.  Praise will take our focus off of the problems that anger us and put our attention on the God who created us and cares about us.
